I am late... I know :(
I couldn’t make it a priority.
That aside, I have one important thing to share…
My Love-Hate Relationship with Delhi
Yep.
I moved to Delhi in January 2024 with the dream of grinding like crazy every day and “becoming a man.”
The goal was simple: Don’t leave Delhi until I become a millionaire.
But honestly, I don’t think Delhi suits me. And this isn’t just a random feeling… I’ll explain.
Whenever I’ve gone on a workation, I’ve felt way more energized. I’ve done more work in fewer hours. Especially on this trip we were in rampage mode.
That doesn’t mean I’ve never worked deeply in Delhi. I’ve had my insane deep work zones here too. But over time, as I got used to the setup, something shifted.
I stopped feeling like working.
Sometimes, I didn’t even want to sit on my chair.
I had to force myself to work. And I did, because… well, I had to.
So my point is…
I can force myself into focus, but when the environment doesn’t support recovery, it takes a toll.
I can’t rejuvenate properly here after intense work sessions.
And that’s why I keep running to the mountains again and again.
Now, I’m not 100% sure if this is real or just a “feeling,” which is why I’m being more conscious about my travels this year. I’m testing things… what environment really helps me thrive? Delhi or the mountains?
I’ll probably go on month-long workations and measure my progress.
But let’s not dismiss this as just vibes… environment really does affect you.
If you know you can give your 100%, but your environment doesn't support that, you’ll stay stuck.
For me, I think my brain has picked up some mental triggers while living in this space in Delhi. I feel lethargic often, and I can’t figure out why.
So the best move for me is to Completely disconnect from this studio for 30 - 60 days, then come back and observe the difference.
And you must have noticed as well that when you stay in one place long enough, your brain builds a routine. And sometimes, that routine becomes a cage. That’s what’s happening to me.
And I want to give everything to the agency and my personal brand.
So if Delhi is holding me back, even with all the love and investment I’ve put into this setup, I might have to leave.
Let’s see how this experiment goes. I’ll keep you updated.
Throwback to 2024 Trips (For Tracking)
Went to relax, ended up being super productive. Did in 6–8 hours what usually takes 2 days. Also shot YouTube videos, wrote scripts, and explored.

Chill guys!
June - Manali (1st time)
Total chill. Some agency calls here and there. That’s it.

You are witnessing whole Solang Valley!
Pure grind mode. 5 days of intense work. Took a full day break and it felt like a cold gulp of water after hours in the sun.

Grind plus fun… Crazy experience!
September - Badrinath (Bike trip)
Less work, mostly chill. Whatever came up, I finished fast.

Your boy looks sexy in riding gears, right?
Full work mode. Late nights… Check. Early mornings… Check. Hard work… check.
Still managed to relax. Felt like we left nothing in the tank.

Juiciest apples I have eaten till now!
November - Rishikesh (Trip 1)
Went to gain clarity. I was super confused. Chill trip. Not much work.

Bike and Mountains = Eternal love story!
December - Rishikesh (Trip 2)
Went just to write things down. Came back the next day.
Every single trip gave me new perspectives. New angles to look at problems. A feeling of disconnection from the noise.

The temple in front of you is Bhootnath temple.
And more than anything, these trips reminded me of who I want to be, not what I see on social media.
I could rant about this for hours but one point…
No one is immune to the chaos of social media unless you cut it off completely.
And in the field I’ve chosen, I can’t cut it off entirely but I can limit it.
Social media gives me FOMO, clutters my brain, and pulls me into short-term thinking.
But when I’m traveling, all that fades. I go inward. I think long-term.
I don’t know what you got from this newsletter but this story was worth sharing.
I moved to Delhi thinking I’d build my long-term base here.
But hey… shit happens, right?
It might be time to move out again (not sure).
I’ve invested a lot in this setup, and saying goodbye won’t be easy… but let’s see.
