Framework to never Procrastinate again
This week was full of writing. I wrote 9000+ words and 50,000+ character (Yes, I counted)
This count only includes my newsletters, LinkedIn posts, and scripts. God knows how much I typed beyond this!
But no, this newsletter isn’t about me flexing.
Coming to the major takeaway of this whole week (Drumrolls 🥁)
“If you have clarity, know your why and set your mind to it, it’s hard to not do the thing”.
I’m not here to waste your time with clichés or make this newsletter unnecessarily long, so let me get straight to the point.
We all struggle with procrastination. It’s a common issue. We just assume that successful people don’t procrastinate but that’s far from the truth. Everyone Procrastinates. Some more, some less.
Remember:
You can’t be productive 100% of the time. Let go of that unrealistic expectation.
Social media lies. Those “hustle 24/7” posts? They’re not real. Nobody is productive 24/7, not even the people who claim to be (I know what goes on behind the scenes).
Work in bursts. Life has seasons, and you need to embrace them.
Now last point brings me to one of my favorite quotes by Naval Ravikant:
“Work like a lion.” That’s what seasons are.
By “Seasons” or “Work like a Lion” I mean, Defining a focused period of 30 days or 3 months, where you’re okay with sacrificing work-life balance to achieve specific goals.
During this time, you focus on ticking off everything on your to-do list, even if it means staying up late and waking up early. (I’m writing this newsletter at 12:21 AM)
Let me explain with my story.
Before the new year, I decided to go all-in for 30 days to build my content machine and bring in clients for my agency.

*Whatever is in the photos, I refined it for practicality. Certain goals, like creating 12 YouTube videos in a month, were impractical since I had other work to focus on. Similarly, sending 10 hyper-personalized emails was postponed to the next batch of campaigns, as we’re currently running a mass outreach campaign.
I defined “Practical” goals for myself:
Edit 8 YouTube videos.
Prepare 3 months of LinkedIn content.
Complete 400 mass email outreaches (with a hypothetical 1% conversion to get 4 clients).
This broke down into weekly tasks:
2 YouTube videos.
9 LinkedIn posts.
100 emails.
Now these goals needed to be broken down further into daily steps.
Below is what my week looks like from 1st Jan till 7th Jan:
1st Jan 2025
6 Linkedin post
1 YT script
Short form shoot
5 Hyper-personalised leads scrape

*I already had 2 months of content ready and needed to learn new things to share more value. So I will take a break, learn and then write more.

*I track my daily efficiency as well to get and overview of my overall output I gave.
And when I wrote these things before New Year, I had Clarity of the Direction, the Outcome and the Input I had to give in order to get things done.
And there you go, it was the start of another “Grinding Season of Life for 30 days”.
Now I think you know what “Seasons of Life” means but…
What did I mean by the takeaway: “If you have Clarity, know your Why, and Set your Mind to it, it’s hard not to do the thing”?
By writing down my goals and defining action steps, I achieved Clarity.
My “Why” was also clear: I needed to build my personal brand to a point where it could generate ₹2 lacs per month consistently and grow my agency to ₹10 lacs MRR.
Another reason?
My agency lost ₹5.5 lacs MRR in December, bringing us back to zero revenue.
Setting my Mind to it became easy when I already had Clarity and a Why.
The key is to push yourself every day, no matter what, but make sure your to-do list is practical and aligned with your lifestyle. Otherwise, you’ll feel overwhelmed.
For example, after January 3rd, I decided to stop writing LinkedIn posts because I didn’t have enough fresh ideas. Instead, I adjusted my to-do list based on my other commitments.
Don’t make your goals a burden.
Create a to-do list that pushes your limits but doesn’t lead to burnout.
Remember, it’s a 30-day or 3-month sprint, so consistency matters. To sustain it, your plan must be realistic and adaptable.
Now I have to get going and write a draft for another newsletter, Bye.

This week during my late night sessions I put Synthwave (listening right now as of writing this) to complete the work.

Also completed my first 100 newsletter subscribers on 3rd Jan (2 days after launch) Love you guys.
